PROVINCIAL WORKSHOPS – FINAL REMINDER… Thank you to those coaches who have already booked in for our upcoming free Provincial Workshops. For those who haven’t booked in as yet, here are the details: In late 2013, Conor O’Callaghan attended the ITF World Coaches Conference in Mexico. Conor will make three presentations at the Workshops. These presentations will be a distillation of the most important things he learned at the World Conference, made relevant to Irish tennis and Irish coaches.


1. BELFAST – Thursday 8th May, David Lloyd Belfast, 10am to 1pm

2. CORK – Wednesday 14th May at SportsVillage, 7pm to 10pm

3. DUBLIN – Tuesday 3rd June, DCU, 7pm to 10pm

4. CASTLEBAR – Thursday 19th June, Castlebar LTC, 10am to 1pm.

FACEBOOK DEVELOPMENTS…The TCI Facebook page at is close to 500 “Likes” – if you use Facebook, please give us a ‘Like’ and help get us over the magic 500! The purpose of the page is to advertise all TCI coaches, by driving players to our website where they can “Find A Coach”.

CONGRATULATIONS TO SUMEET KAPUR…Long-term TCI member Sumeet Kapur has recently taken up a new post as Active Communities Tennis Coach in the Belfast area. Sumeet said “I believe everyone should have a chance to play tennis regardless of what religion someone might be, their gender or the community they might live in”.
