NATIONAL TENNIS DAY 2014

Tennis Ireland has announced Saturday 5th July as National Tennis Day. The idea behind this key strategy is simple: on July 5th or thereabouts tennis clubs should run an ‘Open Day’, where all comers are invited to come along and try the game. The purpose is to create an event where we can actively recruit new club members. In 2013, about 50 clubs in Ireland held Open Days, and between them signed up approximately 2,000 new members. From a coaching point of view, new members equal new pupils, so it is very much in coaches’ interests to promote and assist the running of Open Days on National Tennis Day.

ITF iCOACH NEWS

“Muscles in the human body behave much like a rubber band.
