NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2015: Sunday 27th September at DCU. Title: ‘Firm Foundations – Red Court Tennis’, main speaker: Mark Tennant. I will write to you shortly to let you know the details of Mark’s presentations, plus how to book your spot at the Conference. You can see a new video from Mark here:

A NOTE FROM ROGER GERAGHTY: The Tennis Ireland office has been getting a lot of enquiries about Level 2 and Level 3 Coaches Training Courses. The official applications, however, don’t match up with the enquiries.

Like all our courses, Level 2 and Level 3 Courses are organised based on demand. If you are sincerely interested in becoming a Level 2 or 3 coach, please apply officially for either course at

JUNIOR PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY: TCI member Robert Cherry has provided us with a template that you can adjust to suit your specific programme. This is the Pathway used by Sandycove Tennis Club, guided by the Tennis Ireland Long Term Player Development Pathway compiled by Roger Geraghty. NEW CHILD SAFETY APP: Nothing in our sport is more important than child safety. The new Irish Sports Council Safe Sport App is based on the Code of Ethics & Good Practice for Children’s Sport. It is an information and guidance tool for everyone involved in sport for children and young people. Info and links to download:
